Course Design and Development
- Collaboration between Instructional Technology Support and faculty for course development has a history dating back several decades. In recent times we have worked closely with faculty to develop online courses and supplemental materials for more traditional classes. An early example of this collaboration is the design and development of the PLB108 Concepts in Plant Biology course. We partnered with faculty from the Plant Biology department to develop online modules for a course that was to be offered over the web. Once developed, the content from this course has also been used extensively in many face to face classes as lecture material.
- A similar project is currently underway with the Neonatal Nursing Program.
